What is assisted stretching?
Assisted stretching is hands-on stretching guided by a trained Stretchologist. You stay relaxed on a padded table while your Stretchologist moves and supports each position, so you can reach positions that are difficult to hold on your own.
What should I wear?
Comfortable athletic clothing you can move in. Most clients wear a t-shirt with shorts, leggings, or joggers.
How long is a session?
Most sessions are 30 minutes. The Extended Recovery Session is 60 minutes for multiple focus areas or full-body attention.
Is this medical care?
No. Northwest Recovery provides personalized assisted stretching to support movement and recovery. We do not diagnose conditions, treat injuries, or replace care from a licensed healthcare provider.
How often should I come in?
It depends on your activity level and goals. Many clients start weekly or every other week, and your Stretchologist will talk through what makes sense for you.
Can I book before or after a workout?
Yes. The Pre-Workout Stretch helps you feel prepared before activity, and the Post-Workout Stretch focuses on areas that feel tight or fatigued afterward.
Do I need the Recovery Assessment?
It is optional but helpful. It is a general wellness and service-selection questionnaire that helps your Stretchologist understand your goals and focus areas before you arrive. It is not a medical evaluation.
