BoBlocks handcrafted wooden fascia release blocks

Our Mission

Empowering you to identify where you hold stress and giving you the knowledge and tools to gently release it.

BoBlocks are handcrafted wooden self-myofascial release tools that combine intentional compression, diaphragmatic breathing, and stillness to create a simple, science-informed recovery practice. Crafted from natural wood - chosen for its durability and density that allows for precise, sustained compression - BoBlocks helps improve mobility, increase body awareness, and support your body's natural shift into a calmer, more restorative state.

Why it works

01 - Fascia

Stress lives in your tissue

Fascia forms adhesions under chronic tension - restricting movement and holding the pattern of stress long after it has passed.

02 - Pressure

Pressure remodels from within

Targeted pressure stimulates mechanoreceptors that signal tissue remodeling at the cellular level - not just surface-level relief.

03 - Breath

Breath is the release switch

Slow diaphragmatic breathing shifts the nervous system into parasympathetic rest. Fascia physically responds by letting go.

04 - Wood

Wood calms what foam can't

Contact with natural wood measurably lowers stress hormones and increases parasympathetic tone - a response foam cannot produce.

How to use

Five steps. Infinite release.

Find your tension spot

01

Find your tension spot

Identify a tight, sore, or restricted area. Common spots: feet, inner thighs, quads, psoas, glutes, and upper back.

Place the block underneath

02

Place the block underneath

Position the BoBlock under the target. The Mini gets into smaller muscle groups; the Original covers the large ones.

Sink in slowly

03

Sink in slowly

Lower your body onto the block and let gravity create slow, sustained compression. Support yourself with pillows until you are fully relaxed.

Breathe deeply

04

Breathe deeply

Slow diaphragmatic nasal breaths with an exhale slightly longer than the inhale - signalling safety to the nervous system.

05

Hold for 3–5 minutes

Begin with 90 seconds of stillness, then add gentle micro-movements to explore the surrounding tissue. Find the spot, then be still again.

Recovery isn't something you receive. It's something you learn. Hands-free by design - once the block is positioned you can fully relax into the pressure.
The BoBlocks difference
Fascia is your body's memory. When you work with fascia, you aren't just stretching a muscle - you are unwinding the story your body has been carrying for years.

How we use it in Yakima

  • We use BoBlocks before an assisted stretch session to take the edge off dense tissue so the stretch goes further.
  • Clients who sit or drive all day get a short thoracic and glute release routine to run at home.
  • Athletes use it on off days to keep hips and calves from locking down between training blocks.
